GLASS CANDY
Portland's Glass Candy started out as a glammed-out no wave/ disco
band back in 1996, but over the years they have transformed into a
full fledged dance "band"- leaving the live drummer behind and going
100% electronic. Taking cues from cosmic/space and Italo disco,
Glass Candy takes an organic approach to writing music, using all
analogue gear and not a single computer. Comparisons have been drawn
to Cerrone and Moroder for their approach towards making music
without compromise. They have toured the USA seven times, released
over 20 records in every possible format, and have a rabid fanbase
throughout the world.
